Very strong single-player and the multi-player is also good although it takes a little to get used to (much faster-paced in my opinion than CS which is pretty much the only fps i play online otherwise).

one thing i absolutely HATED about the single-player though was the fact that enemies never stopped spawning and to progress you had to reach invisible checkpoints. basically my strategy changed from actually killing people to only killing people who got in my way and running like hell for cover. repeat until checkpoint reached.

Awesome game. Single player is great but a bit brief, multiplayer is a sweet deal. Will hold your attention for quite awhile!

Multiplayer on the 360 gets old pretty fast, imo. It's just kind of repetative because the maps are so small, and you can only be infantry.

I'd still be willing to do a game or two sometime if someone wants to get on live. Also got Rock Band if anyone is bored.

btw, I'm talking about CoD4 for PC, I don't have it for 360. PHEYLAN when i go back to college in august i will dominate you on rock band. let me know

Does the PC have the same stupid thing where if you're under cover and the guys are shooting at your squadmates and you come out of cover they all start shooting at you instead?

i could not answer this conclusively as i haven't played in a while and don't really remember where everyone was shooting, but it did seem whenever i left cover i was pretty much fucked on the higher difficulties unless i had the luck of the lucky charms dude and the speed of usain bolt

personally i don't think the 360 multiplayer is boring at all, i still play almost everyday

True story maybe because i just got it but hasn't got even remotely old if anything it's gotten more fun unlocking everything so fast. It's just as easy as CS wants you get used to it. But now when i go 7 and 0 i get to send out a fucking helicopter to rape you or a airstrike makes it soooo much more fun. I feel like it's the perfect mix between CS and BF anyone else?

Its a good mix, but I wish the maps were bigger with more players. Also, I miss being able to rape people while in a helo/jet/tank.

I enjoyed it a good deal. I'll go back and play it more online when I feel like another FPS fix. Also they release more maps on 360 that cost money, but on PC they will be free. NVidia is picking up the bill.

if the maps were any bigger i would need a vehicle which would make it bf2 and not cod. qq more

Yes there are. Except they are better.

Better tracking of stats by gun, better incentives for using all the guns, and better gameplay than Halo IMO.

Don't get me wrong, Halo's excellent. A righteous shooter indeed. But COD4 is pretty damned fantastic.

agreed, i got them both for xmas, let's just say i've played halo for probably a net total of ten hours, whereas i've spent 4 days total online time with CoD
