it would only be ruining people's lives who are "seduced" by its song, but it has been actively destroying people's lives and livelyhoods with arduous smear campaigns for simply being openly opposed to the cult. People who have been researching their practices have had fake news postings about them being pedophiles. Fake police wanted posters posted around their hometowns. everything they can think of to call your credibility into question.
