I'm done traveling for work for awhile. Now I'm in my home office every day which is nice. Only work about 50 hours a week too so I still have time to meet up with friends for a beer or movie or something after work.
I recently moved into a much nicer place and have been working on getting new furniture to fill it out.
On the weekends I get shitfaced while closing down bars and go home with members of the opposite sex.
I've been moving back into my place at school, hanging out with my friends that I didn't see over break. And now school has started back up and they started giving me enough work to fill all orifices since the first day.
It's a bad habbit I kept from French. When you speak French the actual way to say you watched television is by saying you listened to it. I have already discussed about this with some other people and I find it wrong that some people think it's just stupid to say you can listen to the tv because you do listen and watch it at same time. One or the other word is not really better than the other one.

I blame Marconi. (Google it if you don't get the joke) (If you can call it a joke)

Maybe when you're speaking english you should stick to the basic logic of the language.
If I were to speak french I wouldn't sub out the french word for listened and sub in "watched" just because I thought "it was stupid."
Sight is the primary sense associated to television, which makes "watch" the primary verb associated with it. Watched therefore IS the better word to use in that context.
Unless you like being thought of as incompetant every time you talk about TV. In that case, be my guest.

Had a bad day ?
I started with "bad habbit I kept from French" and not I do it because "I think it's stupid". I don't know where you got that I was doing it because I thought it was stupid. I only thought argueing about the use of the "listened" in French was stupid. You are right for the sight part but I don't think "listening to tv" is completely wrong and I'm not either going to argue about it with you. Seriously though, did you really had such a bad day that you had to say "Unless you like being thought of as incompetant everytime you talk about TV. In that case, be my guest" ? It's just a bad habbit, as I previously stated, that I kept and I'm trying to lose it but it's not that easy.
