Just returned home early this morning about 0230 from about 45 days or so of training in the Mojave Desert in 29 Palms, CA. It appears my trip to Afghanistan is getting closer and closer (a little over a month now). How is everyone doing these days?
I thought your absence would make me miss you, but all it did was prove that you're useless.
How was training? What are you going to do this month (besides sleep as much as possible)? Happy to hear you're safe buddy, waiting for you to drag your fatass up to NYC so I can buy you a beer and slip you the stiff one eye.

That what the kid's are calling it these days?
Welcome home, dude. I assume this means you're a well oiled killing machine, now?
If by some chance you know you'll be flying out of Pease before you leave the country let me know. I'll bring you a hot meal or whatever else you might want or need before you head out.
Best of luck bud. Let me know if you need anything while over there. I've sent care packages to several people over there. You'll find yourself needing anything from DVDs to pistol m4 magazines. Keep in touch.
A guy I worked with at West Chester also said he was planning on bringing a flash drive full of amateur porn at the recommendation of some of the folks he talked to while training, etc.
What Gach does not realize is that the porn this guy is gonna bring is a bunch of solo work. By that guy. Involving him, garters and other female clothing. Poor Gach. Scarred emotionally during the tour. Will be unable to look at a woman wearing garters without thinking of his buddy.
Plenty of my friends will have porn with them like we had in training. Remember, I'm not a grunt (killing machine), but a combat support element and work with grunts. Yes, I can shoot and kill if needed but it's not an everyday event for this guy.
Thanks for the support, and Wedge, I don't know where we're flying from. Probably out of Hickam Air Force Base, but where to after that, no idea.
Ryan, I'll be here during that time so we must get together for a beer or more.
Pheylan, how goes the officer flight training? I'll be sure to let you know if I need pistol mags (which I won't). /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
It goes slow. Our entire fleet of planes is grounded right now for maintenance. No flying means boredom. Boredom means I'm spending too much money. Oh well.
So have you been designated to fly fixed wing or rotary then? You have to get me in touch with someone to take me for a ride in a AH-1 Cobra. I love that fucking helicopter!
The Cobra has been around about as long as I have. It is truly amazing that two completely different things of approximately the same age can still look so awesome.
I figured it was piloted only by Marines, but I know you're an officer and you got connections. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
