A member-supported radio station out if the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia called XPN is hosting top 885 (they are 88.5 FM in philly) "desert island" songs. The premise is simple, people submit the 10 songs that they absolutely could not live without if they were stranded on a desert island for the rest of their life. The premise is a little different than your 10 current favorite songs because your favorites can change over time. This is more of a timeless scenario.
So, since I'm writing up my list for xpn at the moment, I figured I would ask the same question here. What 10 songs could you not live without? They may not be the ten songs that you think are the most artistic or worthy of being in a top 10 list; you'd be listening to them and only them for the rest of your life, so repeat playability is really important.
1. We Built This City 2. We Built This City 3. We Built This City 4. We Built This City 5. We Built This City 6. We Built This City 7. We Built This City 8. We Built This City 9. We Built This City 10. We Built This City

I assure you that with only 10 songs, and no other form of entertainment, that I would be spending most of my time trying to get off of the island, listening to one song and one song only:
A desert island is the same thing as a "destered" island. It isn't an environmental description.
sorry to say i don't really know what a "destered" island is, so i can't really see the parallel /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Tommy and Brian, I heart you both but Coldplay are indefensibly bad! I'm surprised your anti-virus software hasn't asked for permission to quarantine those files.
