For my riposte, or rather, lack of one, see the other thread.

Damage and hp increasing by large amounts quickly, (i'm assuming this is what you meant by "spiking"), is precisely what defines a STR hero. The fact that STR is their main trait is what allows them to have the hp and damage spike later on in the game. When you say "his damage and hp potential spiking later on" is the reason axe is a good late game hero you are more or less stating that he is a good late game hero because he is a STR hero. I don't think Court or anyone else on this forum was inferring a phrase to mean anything other than exactly what you meant at the time. Also, Court was listing the reasons that axe isn't a good late game hero, and is in fact more suitable for mid game play. You seem to have mistakenly inferred that he was giving the reasons axe is a good late game hero.

This is okay though, Gov is often misunderstood on these forums because some individuals infer a phrase as meaning something else entirely and i'm sure this won't be the last time.



Wtf? I understand bill isn't very nice to you on these forums but what exactly were you hoping to accomplish with that little quip? 95% of the time bill posts he is absolutely shit faced. The other 5% of the time he is 100% correct about whatever he's saying. So either you're wrong or you're arguing with a drunk. What's the point? I know you said you meant no offense but do you really think that every time someone misunderstands you it's because they are mistaken? maybe you're not always 100% clear when you post? or maybe, just maybe, you are sometimes mistaken in your claims or views?

Either way, let's all chill out. This is the dota forum. Leave the bickering to the political discussion forums and AIM convos.

The DotA thing, gigantic clusterfuck with wording. The argument was the nature of the reason for Axe being especially viable late-game, not that he was in the first place, because that ahd already been agreed upon.

Anyway, we need to play some more. I kind of miss it.

I still play semi-regularly, with Jedd and Jason. There's a few new guys we play with (FNJC, ultralemming, hakedo, etc), but if you see us on vent, hop on and play a few games with us.

I thought profit was step 3. If we're going by south park's guidelines then it should be three steps with the third being profit and the second being the ellipsis.
