Get excellent gas milages. Needs the brakes replaced often, but cheap to repair. I had a similar model for 4 years as well, and really enjoyed it during that time. People really underrate the utility of what you can fit in a car of this design, since the back console lifts out and the seats fold forward! Insta-hatchback...less stigma!

Court, the only way to avoid short jokes is to grow really large hair. Look at me. I NEVER get called short but I believe we are the same height, maybe you're an inch shorter or something but I never noticed. People actually assume I'm tall if they don't stand next to me and have no one near me to gauge the relative sizes.

Actually there is nothing wrong with using a moped to get around. If all I did was short range commuter hops I would have gotten a smaller bike. You can't beat the mileage of a bike. Well ok you can some bikes. I have an 800 lb. bike and I get about 50 MPG. The lighter bikes with smaller engines do better. Most of the small moped type bikes get 70 to 100 mpg. For around town that is awesome. Try to get 100 mpg out of a car.

On the down side Court would look silly in the winter with some big assed snow tires and some chains on a moped. Not to mention the plow on the front for those heavy snow days.

Can you actually put snow tires/chains on a motocycle/moped? Or is it just time to find alternative means of travel after snow/ice falls?

i'm quite certain that putting snowchains on a bike would be detrimental to your health.

Either way, I would pay money to see Court driving a crotch-rocket with snow chains and a plow on it, through the whole 2 inches of snow you guys get down there over the course of the entire winter.
