Apple iPhone3g

So here's a real LAWL story... A group of security guards at the KOP At&t store was stationed at the display case in wall form, So one of the gentlemen walked over when I was toying with the phone and asked me how i liked it. I said I don't understand what all the fuss is about well he told me he was called in to sit at this store until close. Apparently at another at&t store they only sent 40 phones and there was a riot, merchandise was stolen workers and customers injured, fights non-stop until authorites with FIREARMS arrived, the clerks locked themselves in a storage closet...While myself took one look at the keyboard on the 3g and laughed and walked out, this new iphone was cut short like "I am legend".. Where's all the features that were promised? What a piece of shit... I've just ordered the Sprint Instinct :] Tell me what you think, I loved everything I saw including the plans that come with the phone, very cheap for unlimited use on the phones features such as TV, gps, Text, picture, EVERYTHING... 1500 minutes between 2 lines for 129.00. We pay 155$ now for 2 lines... with my Katana. emailhttp://www.mobileburn.com/review.jsp?Id=4866
Check it out let's see your opinions on the g3 vs instinct and every other touch screen phone haha

does it still not do copy and paste?

    what about record videos?

aim or any instant message clients right now?

can you edit any ms office documents?

is the only way to send and receive pix to other phones still through e-mail?

    can you get tv?

    what about radio?

can it be used as a modem for your laptop?

    is there a video out?

    I'll pass for now.

that sounds like a lot of unnecessary bullshiat if you ask me. IM's go to your email on most phones I've seen. And who writes or edits MS documents on their phone? TV and Radio? A Modem for your laptop? if you have a laptop that you want your phone to be a modem for then you don't need your phone to be your laptop. Is there some kind of future phone from space that does all this that I'm not aware of?

I disagree ANunes. Many of the features crazy listed are things that are quite common on most other smartphones but not the iPhone. An IM client is something that I feel should have been included in the first version of the iPhone. Honestly, what smartphone right now does not have AIM or another IM client? I dunno what phones you've seen but I don't think I've seen a smartphone that uses e-mail to IM. Most have a dedicated client for IM'ing which is separate form internet usage.

Also, there are phones these days such as the AT&T Tilt and I think all Blackberry's which have the ability to write or edit MS Documents. It is handy for the business man or women who is doing a presentation or a student needing 2 send a document to a friend in places that do not have computers.

TV and Radio have become big on many new smartphones with Verizon VCast and the new AT&T TV streaming. Radio on the other hand which is somewhat smaller in usage, is becoming available.

The only part I agree with you on is the modem part. I don't really understand that. But the fact that so many features that I was looking forward to were not included in the iPhone along with the steep monthly payments were not worth it to me.

Fair enough. So it exists. I've got my complaints about the iPhone. These things are not on the list. IM'ing would be nice I suppose, but my friend just got a new blackberry curve and all IM's go straight to his email. Same notification, same list, same method of responding. TV on your phone would suck and I wouldn't use it. Radio sucks and I wouldn't use it. It's a phone, not a video storage device. Accessing email isn't so much of a chore that getting pictures sent there is a horrible travesty. It's a PHONE. It's a phone with a lot of features yeah. But come on... if you wanna bitch about the 3G iPhone bitch that it doesn't work. Bitch that the battery is jammed in there and locked up tighter than a cat's asshole. But, "Is the only way to send and receive pix through email?" doesn't cut it for me.

Iphone 3g is the first.......Sprint Instinct
    ______________________________________
    initial price-- $199.......... $129
contract term-- 2 years ...........2 years
storage-- 8GB space ...........2GB microSD card
    misc-- 16GB version for $299 after .........$100 mail-in rebate
GPS-- navigation no dynamic driving directions........ includes door-to-door navigation
    monthly cost of cheapest plan--- $40 + $30 = $70?? ..................$70
    unlimited plan----- $150 .................$100

I think monthly for 3g is higher i forget and dun have time to check but $1070 and they're rated a draw for pros and cons on features. Let me know if any numbers are wrong.

P.S I have a shared plan it's $$130 for 2 instincts (65$ a phone). Fully Unlimited every feature available with 1500 minutes free nights and weekends starting at 6pm.. idk "To each his own"
  • AIM and Pandora are two of the biggest apps downloaded from the store, now.

This is how I feel about Apple and their "look at me I'm so much better than everything" philosophy.

I do own an iPod, that's the only legitimate product I would ever buy from apple.
