As some of you might know, I'm a pretty avid music dude. Besides playing and listening, I have also over the years written a fair amount about music, culminating in my last year at college where I wrote a weekly column for the paper regarding new releases and/or features on bands playing in the L.A. area. My dream job has always been to write for a publication like Rolling Stone. To promote myself, I've decided to start up a website showcasing my writings which I plan to update on a weekly basis (a'la sites like the dreaded pitchfork, cokemachineglow, sputnik, etc.).
Alas, I have absolutely zero web design experience. I do have a copy of dreamweaver but no idea how to use it, although I do plan on trying to learn. I was wondering if anyone on this site has web design experience and would be willing to help me out with making a professional yet cooll/hip-looking site. I WILL PAY FOR THIS VIA PAYPAL IF NECESSARY.
go watch 'almost famous' and learn how to get onto rolling stone.
i'm pretty decent at graphic design, but that doesn't pertain to web design. also, im restricted to the use of the adobe programs to only at school.
don't be pitchfork.
they're so lo-fi indie circle jerking biased.
not that i dislike lo-fi indie circle jerking, i just like other things too. you have elliott smith as your most played artist, you're too cool to be pitchfork.

i've seen almost famous, rolling stone was a bit easier to get into when it was a small office in san francisco haha. and when i say "like pitchfork," i mean the layout of their site and what they cover, not their pompous hipper-than-thou attitude. but, enough about me. more about you! who likes web design?
