Yeah, looks hella good, but the trailer shows some good action scenes. I just hope that as all it has.

I've seen only positive commentary so far on it. I plan on going to see it.

I haven't been to a movie in over a year. Don't think that's going to change any time soon, either.

it's going to be awesome. the first ever monster movie that tells the story from the people actually being killed.



you're definitely missing out on some quality films then. at least two films came out this year that are just flawless.

just saw I Am Legend last night, and planning to see this on sunday.

I love Abrams' work, especially lost, so this should be an amazing movie.

I'll definitely check it out when it hits the UK.

and the concept of how the whole movie is shot with handcam+ the ending.

i failed.

I didn't go see it personally so I can't say this for sure, but 3 of my friends went and saw it, with diverse enough tastes in movies that if it was good one of them should have liked it... but all three thought it was lame.

P.S. they were all also equally excited about going to see it from the trailers and advertising as you guys are, they just thought it was a major let down.

it's not a major let down. it's a great movie.

i heard it was awesome but at the end it somehow seemed a little short.

The guy who films the whole thing is named Hud. And they make it a point to use his name a lot. that aside it was a sweet flick. I'd be willing to see it again in DLP.

If some one ever handed me a script with dialog like that, Id throw it down and take a fucking dump on it.

Just saw it, and I've gotta say it was a great movie. Girlfriend absolutely hated it, but I thought it was brilliant.

There's barely any trace of hollywood movie garbage there, goes completely against what would be considered the norm, and it works, dear god it works,

How can you stand that guy behind the camera though? They could NOT have come up with a more annoying person to hold the camera...

but yeah cloverfield - marginally entertaining film. Wasn't bad, but somebody definitely turned up the suck knobs during post production. the monster was kinda gay too. Points for Lizzie Caplan though

Believe it or not it wasn't shot with a handicam, although it looked like it.

They shot it with an HD sony camera, a Sony CineAlta F23 i believe, it was shot in cinema verite, and edited to look like it was shot by hand, but all that horrible cameraship was done on purpose.

oh yeah, hud was annoying, But I found his amusing.

I still liked the movie though
