I found a ruby script, but ideally I'd like something that sits in systray.
I'm having a bit of trouble staying under the cap, so I end up viewing it like every day.
I signed up in March (hence it's way under the cap). I was up over 200gb like half way through April, and I'm already 10% to the cap only one day into the month....
wtf do you download? I have trouble believing there is that much worthwhile porn out there. Does that include bandwidth from games and other programs?
I don't download porn, and the only game I play is cs.
TV is the bulk
Right now every week I have to download South Park, Ugly Americans, Nurse Jackie, Breaking Bad, The Pacific, and Treme (I think that's all of them). edit: there's also ufc and wec fights every so often, and those are usually about 1.5gb each.
Plus I get movies I want to see as they come out.
There's also math books; I just grabbed 13gb of math book torrents and also grabbed about a dozen books from Springer.
V hasn't been bad, but I haven't decided on it yet.
I looked up Justified, and I like the premise anyway. I'll try it out.
V sounds like The 4400, and the priest (the guy in the priest garb in the wikipedia picture, anyway), was one of the main characters. Did you watch The 4400? Is it anything like that?
If you aren't sure about V, I may just wait until the season is done so that I can watch it in large chunks.
V is entertaining enough that I've seen them all to date, which is rare because I don't watch that much TV. It's actually a remake of a really popular 80's TV show. I never watched The 4400.

V and The 4400 are quite different.
You might as well compare it to The Prisoner. They are all interesting thought experiments in human society, psychology and ethics. In terms of plot, style, themes, etc they all have very little in common.
I have found them all to be cool, thought /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

That's awesome. I loved the prisoner. Downloading now...
And thanks Phey for the recommendation of Justified. I really like it. I want the ex-sniper marshal that played the David Spade-like character in Eurotrip to be featured more.
Meh I really don't want to get into that. It'd be tons easier to just pull the data from the webpage.

Yeah, there's only one scene in the entire show I haven't liked, in the first episode. Other then that it's been pretty consistent and solid.
New compared to the one that was on tv in what... the 70s?
/I started downloading it this winter, never finished, and haven't even finished what I've downloaded... //Lazy about my tv watching.
heh ok. yeah the other one is from the 70s or something. i haven't watched it.
i watched the first episode of V last night, but I had already seen it. I don't remember watching it, though. I already downloaded the rest of the season, so I guess I'll watch another episode at least.

I think I can stare at Morena Baccarin's mug for an hour a week without too much difficulty.
It's weird how many cast members are from other science fiction shows are in V (three from Firefly, three from Battlestar Galactica, one from The 4400). I could see if they were all the same channel, but Firefly=Fox, BG=Sci Fi, and 4400=USA (and V=ABC). I wonder if they figure science fiction fans are incestuous in their watching habits ("ooh it's science fiction, and I recognize him from this other scifi show, so I'll watch it") or what

I think it's more likely that the studios are the incestuous ones. Much like the whole voice-acting club. Or maybe there was this golden age of sci fi a few years ago... because now V is pretty much it. Now that it's the SyFy channel they just show modern, low budget, campy giant [arbitrary creature] movies.
