I'm going to put a check next to "Who wants to pay 4x as much as they have to for shitty drinks at a terrible bar, or 8x as much for decent drinks in a good bar as they're used to anywhere else, and then also pay 4x as much for accommodations for the night as well."

I go to dive bars and $1 beer nights all the time. $2 jack shots. That doesn't sound appealing? -

This is the last beer I drank:
It cost 4 bucks. I got to drink it at home next to a fireplace while watching Season Two Episode 10 of the Wire.
This is what I drank the last time I was at a bar:
It cost $3.50. I got to drink it between a gentlemen on the lighter side of 400 lbs who was at the bar to eat, and a frat boy who was at the bar not to pick up chicks, but rather to speak loudly about how easy it would be to pick up chicks at this particular bar.
Bars don't seem to be my scene.
